video | Grand finale of Rahul Gandhi’s visit may be disrupted due to heavy snowfall

Heavy snowfall in Kashmir’s Srinagar is likely to dampen the spirits of the concluding ceremony of Congress’s all-India foot march ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ scheduled to be held today. The Congress is organizing a mega rally at the Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium to mark the conclusion of the 135-day long Kanyakumari to Kashmir Yatra. Apart from the entire Congress leadership, more than a dozen leaders of opposition parties are expected to attend the rally. However, the snowfall has closed the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway, and may also disrupt air traffic. Many opposition leaders who reached the closing ceremony of the yatra led by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi may not be able to attend it.
