Video: Great White Shark Circles Around Boat in Bloody Water, Internet Calls It a “Monster”

A video of a giant white shark circling a fishing boat in bloody waters after hunting a sea lion has stunned the internet. The short clip was shared by Mike McGill on Instagram. The incident occurred about 23 km from Mission Bay in San Diego, United States.

In the video, a great white shark can be seen approaching the boat while people shout “Oh my God!” Moments later, a man can also be seen on the side of the ship, directly beneath the giant creature. “He is kissing the boat,” a man can be heard saying in the footage.

“So this happened yesterday on our friends boat 14 miles out that leaves the same dock in Mission Bay,” Mr McGill captioned the post.

In the clip, blood can be seen seeping into the water in which the shark was swimming. According to newsweekA few feet away from the boat was the carcass of a sea lion.

“He’s a monster dude,” a person can be heard saying in the video. At the end of the video, the shark is then seen swimming towards the carcass and disappearing into the depths.

According to CBS Los Angeles, the great white shark swam to the bottom of the boat and then circled it, before returning to feast on the carcass of a sea lion. Separately, Mr McGill clarified in the comments section that he was not trying to feed the shark by dumping the carcass in the water.

Meanwhile, the video has stunned the netizens. One user wrote, “At least you all can rest easy knowing he wasn’t hungry and was looking for a boat morsel!” Another said, “I am scared to see this video on dry land.”

A third added, “He’s a monster dude.” “Ancient hunter and still owner,” remarked the fourth.
