Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera was offloaded from Indigo’s flight on Thursday morning. After which the leaders of the Congress party banned it for some time. During this, Congress leaders also had an argument with the airline officials. He said that Pawan Kheda was taken off the plane even after getting the boarding pass. Senior Congress leader KC Venugopal stopped near the entrance of the aircraft and asked what was the reason why Pawan Kheda was being thrown from the plane. Venugopal said that if the company has a valid reason then we have no problem.

Alleged Congress leader Pawan Khera was arrested by the Assam Police on Thursday after he was ejected from a Delhi-Raipur flight in connection with his alleged remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Congress leader Randeep Surwala said the police was in flux without an FIR or arrest certificate.
After hearing the petition of Pawan Kheda, the Supreme Court granted him bail and provided protection from arrest till February 28. Simultaneously, the court also sought response from Assam and Uttar Pradesh Ramesh on clubbing the FIRs lodged against Kheda. The court has ordered the petition to be listed for next hearing on February 27.
Earlier, the police arrested media department head of the Congress, Kheda, when he was on his way to Raipur to attend the national convention of the party. A senior Delhi Police officer said, “He was detained by the Delhi Police on the request of the Assam Police.
