An alarming report in The Lancet is confirming what doctors in India have been warning people about extensively. A survey reveals that 35.5 per cent Indians suffer from hypertension, 15.3 per cent have pre-diabetes, while 81.2 per cent have dyslipidemia – an imbalance of lipids such as cholesterol.
