The increasing incidents of these wild animals roaming on the streets have created fear in the minds of the people. In a shocking incident, a leopard pounced on a sleeping dog in Maharashtra. The now-viral video has shocked many on the internet and raised questions about the common sighting of animals in urban areas.
This video has been shared by user Neha Panchmia on Twitter. In the CCTV footage, a man can be seen sleeping on a cot, while a stray dog is seen sleeping next to him on the road in a row of some trucks. A few minutes later a panther is seen entering the scene and pacing. Further in the video, the leopard walks towards the area where two drums are kept and sees a dog sleeping there. It picks up the dog and runs to leave the spot. The man realizes that something is unusual after the dog barks. He is surprised to see a leopard running with a dog in its mouth.
