video | “No Violation”: Mauritius Minister Rejects US Short-Seller’s Allegations Against Adani Group

Mauritius’ Minister for Financial Services and Good Governance Mahen Kumar Seruttun has said that the allegations made in the Hindenburg Report regarding alleged shell companies on the Adani Group are false and baseless. In an exclusive interview with NDTV, the minister said that the Financial Commission of Mauritius, which is India’s equivalent to SEBI, has conducted an extensive investigation and found no wrongdoing on the part of the Adani group. He very clearly stated that Mauritius has a strong regulatory framework and it is unfair to call the country a tax haven.
