A video of a man saving a dog from a railway track near a train near a Mumbai station has gone viral on the internet. The short clip was shared on Instagram with an account named ‘Mumbai Meri Jaan’ and the credit was given to Nikhil Lokhande. It has garnered over 31,000 likes and 488,000 views.

In the video, a dog can be seen walking on the railway track while a train was approaching the station. The short clip shows a man walking towards an oncoming train which is moving very slowly and signals it to stop. Many spectators can also be seen that the man derailed the dog and placed it on the platform.

According to social media users, the incident took place in Nalaspora under the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
