Street food fans understand that it is not just the taste of the dish that matters but also how it is prepared that defines it. Many food videos go viral where the people preparing it experiment with different ingredients. However, this time a video of a street food vendor preparing dosas in an artistic way is going viral on social media. It has not only impressed the internet users but also all the foodies who want to try their hand at this masterpiece.

Manoj Kumar, CEO of Nandi Foundation, shared the video on Twitter. In the two-minute clip, a street food vendor is seen spreading the dosa batter in a circular manner on a pan, trying to make an animal shape. A few seconds later, the man spreads more slurry, forming another circle, which appears to be the head of the figure. Eventually, as he continues to spread the batter, one notices that the man has actually created a cat. He takes a spatula and scoops out excess batter to make the cat’s eyes, nose and mouth. Later he folds the dosa and serves it with coconut chutney.

“I believe India’s street food vendors are the most innovative, flexible and influential food influencers. More so than any gourmet chef. I was wondering how to work with them to impact the nutritive food system. Please Appreciate this man’s artistic skills,” the caption reads. Post.
