Video of pan dosa goes viral, internet doesn’t believe

Crisp, crunchy and delicious, dosa is one of the most popular South Indian dishes that is loved by almost every foodie. From Mysore Masala to Rava Dosa, there are many variations and versions of this dish. However, in a strange combination, a video of a man making paan dosa is going viral on the internet. The fluorescent green colored dish is making the internet swoon.

The video has been shared on Twitter by a user named Happy. In the two-minute video, a man pours green batter (made from paan or betel leaves) on a hot dosa tawa. After a few seconds, he adds lots of butter to the green batter. Later chopped betel leaves, cherries, raisins, apricots, dates, figs, tutti frutti and dry fruits are added to it. Not only this, the chef also pours betel syrup on top of it. Further, the man mixes all the ingredients to make a thick paste. The video, which is now going viral, has shocked many users and people are questioning the need for such a strange combination. The location where the video was shot is yet to be confirmed.

Since being shared two days ago, the video has garnered over 1.4 lakh views. The caption of the clip reads, “Pan dosa, time to leave this planet.”

“Mayonnaise/ketchup pan waiting!” one person commented.

One user said, “I need to watch the second part of this video so I can deactivate my Twitter account in peace.”

A third user said, “It is 1 per cent paan and 99 per cent food colouring.”
