The internet is full of heart touching videos. But have you ever heard of an animal saving the life of its prey? Sounds weird, doesn’t it? In a video that has surfaced online, a bear is seen saving a crow from drowning in a pond in its enclosure at a zoo in Budapest, Hungary.

In this 45-second long video shared on Twitter, a bear named Wali is seen eating and roaming in the pond. Meanwhile, a crow is flapping its wings, trying to swim across the pond. The bird is trying hard to get out of the pond but is seen struggling. This watch moves towards the boundary of the pond. It then grabs the crow with its paw and then uses its mouth to grasp the bird’s feathers. Within seconds, the bear pulls the crow out and lays it on the ground. The bear then leaves and starts eating while the crow tries to get back on its feet.

The video has been shared by an internet user on Twitter under the name Fascinating. The clip has been viewed over 4.5 million times. Many internet users were taken aback by this rare gesture of the wild animal. The caption read, “Footage by Alexander Medveis shows a bear rescue a drowning crow at the Budapest Zoo.

One user commented and wrote, ‘That crow will never forget what that bear did for him. A second added, “greater human beings.”

“It’s always amazing to see a predator save a prey’s life. Of course the hunter probably wouldn’t when they were hungry and instead ate the prey, but that means that really only hunger kills them. , otherwise they are happy to save their lives when they are able,” said a third.

Another internet user said, “I will continue to say that people can learn a lot by watching animals and these beautiful creatures put some humans to shame over and over again. Simply beautiful.” Another user said, “Feeling nostalgic and this really made me happy. What a cute bear.”
