Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the first phase of the ambitious, nearly 1,400-km Delhi-Mumbai Expressway at Dausa in Rajasthan. The 246-km Delhi-Dausa-Lalsot section of the expressway will reduce the travel time from Delhi to Jaipur from five hours to about three-and-a-half hours. It is also expected to boost economic opportunities across the region.
