On Saturday, the Vigilance Department raided the residence of RWD Executive Engineer Sanjay Kumar Rai in Kishanganj, Bihar and recovered unaccounted cash worth crores.

Vigilance team raided the residence of Sanjay Kumar Rai, Executive Engineer of Kishanganj Division of Rural Works Department (RWD). After receiving information about the bribe from the junior engineer and cashier, the team targeted Rai.

Registering a case in the disproportionate assets case, the Vigilance Department raided the residence of Executive Engineer Sanjay Kumar Rai on Indrapuri Road No. 10 of Patna and recovered cash of about Rs.

Meanwhile, the investigation team has started matching the notes. Several other documents have also been found in the raid. Raids are on in the case of disproportionate assets.
