The Congress party has asked its national president Mallikarjun Kharge to decide who will be the new chief minister of Karnataka. Each MLA will meet the team of Congress observers and tell them their choice. Sources said that the new Chief Minister and cabinet of Karnataka will take oath on Thursday. The Congress asked Mr Kharge to take a decision on the appointment of the chief minister after a meeting of its Karnataka MLAs at a five-star hotel in Bengaluru today.
