UN relief chief Martin Griffiths has said the death toll from massive earthquakes in Turkey and Syria will “double or exceed” the current level of 28,000. Griffiths arrived on Saturday in the southern Turkish city of Kahramanmaras, the epicenter of an earlier 7.8-magnitude tremor that killed millions, before dawn on Monday.
