Violence after West Bengal elections: CBI arrests 11 people in East Medinipur

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday arrested 11 people in East Medinipur as part of the investigation into the post-poll violence cases in West Bengal.

In September, the CBI had detained six people for their alleged involvement in several criminal offenses in the post-poll violence in the state. A team of CBI officers visited Howrah district on September 6 and detained all six of them from Domjur area.
