It’s April Fool’s Day, and the Internet is flooded with tons of prank videos, fake Facebook posts, and other images and information. From famous social media pages to celebrities, everyone tried to poke fun at their followers. Amidst this trend, the official Twitter handle of Kerala Tourism shared a photoshopped picture which has sent netizens into a tizzy and triggered a flurry of funny yet creative comments.

The official account of Kerala Tourism on Saturday shared a picture of Holland and Zendaya as they posed amid the picturesque lush green of Munnar.

The picture was captioned: “Guess who we saw on Far From Home?” And the hashtags were ‘away home’, ‘Munnar’ and ‘Kerala tourism’.

The post instantly went viral and has been recognized by followers as the best April Fool’s Day joke. It has been viewed over 2,000,00 times on Twitter and received many interesting comments.

A user commented, “Wow…I saw him having lunch at a shop an hour ago.”

“This was a good one. Everyone was a little fooled including me. I think whoever did this deserves credit (assuming this was really just a photo made for today and the idea was actually Wasn’t meant to make people believe they were in Munnar!),” commented another user.

However, the original image was shot in April last year in the city of Boston in the United States.

Many users immediately realized that it was a fake photo, while many more mistakenly believed it to be the original.
