Viral video: Construction workers convert old Bajaj scooter into electric pulley, internet is impressed

From time to time, we see people making something unique and useful out of very basic features. Now, a video showing construction workers using an old Bajaj scooter as an electric winch is going viral on social media.

The video was shared on Twitter by a user named Pankaj Parekh on Saturday. The caption of the post reads, ‘Bajaj could never even imagine how this scooter could be used other than driving it on the roads.’

In the short clip, a man is seen sitting on an old scooter without wheels. As he twists the accelerator of the motionless scooter, a heavy white bag is pulled up above the third floor of a building under construction.

Overall, the video captured close-ups of the completely makeshift machinery. It demonstrated how workers attached a rope pulley to a rotating wheel with metal rods to lift the heavy bags to the third level of the building.
