Viral Video: Police officer’s unique mantra to spread helmet awareness hits the internet

Wearing a helmet while driving a two wheeler is a traffic rule that one should never follow. Now, a hilarious video suggesting this has surfaced on the internet and has left social media users divided.

The video, posted on Twitter by a user named Jackie Yadav, shows a police officer’s unique reaction to a man riding a bike without a helmet. The caption of the post read in Hindi, “This brother wouldn’t even have dressed in such a respectful manner at his wedding.”

The short clip shows a policeman confronting a man who was apparently riding a bike without a helmet. The police officer put a helmet on the rider’s head and explained the traffic rules as if he was chanting mantra (Hymn).

Policemen were also seen pleading with the rider to wear a helmet with folded hands. In Hindi, the officer explained that if he is ever caught without a helmet again, he will be fined five times the current amount for violating traffic rules.

The clip was shared on Twitter on 9 September. Since then, it has garnered over 191,000 views and nearly 10,000 likes.

In the comments section, several internet users lauded the officer for his unique idea. One user even told the name of the policeman to Bhagwat Prasad Pandey.
