Every inch of Kashmir is filled with beautiful, unspoiled pieces of nature. The land is called “heaven on earth” and now, a video going viral on the internet shows how the mesmerizing beauty of Kashmir lives up to its reputation.
The clip shared by Norwegian diplomat Erik Solheim captures the Bangus Valley located in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district. The short video shows a clear stream of water running through a mountain meadow as the horses graze happily among the lush green grass.
“Incredible India! This paradise lies in Jammu and Kashmir, called the Bangus Valley,” Mr Solheim wrote in the caption.

The Bangus Valley is known for its high terrain and diverse range of flora and fauna. It is as beautiful as Gulmarg and Pahalgam, but less spoiled and more pristine. The name of the valley is derived from two Sanskrit words, “Pratibandha,” meaning forest; The second part is “gus,” which means grass.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, industrialist Anand Mahindra shared a video that shows a beautiful cafe in Kashmir run by the Indian Army. The clip shows blogger Garima Goel around the Log Hut cafe situated amidst the hills at a place called Gurez Ghati. She explained that the eatery serves a variety of snacks and beverages to the customers as well as has a panoramic view of the outside.
