Ordering food online has come as a savior for many of us, especially in the post-pandemic era. It not only saves us the time and effort in getting ready and going out for dinner, it is also one of the fastest ways to enjoy our desired dishes without any hassles. Just a few clicks on your phone and the food of your choice is ordered, prepared and delivered to your homes. During and after the pandemic, food delivery giants in other parts of the country and the world even went so far as to help delivery drivers get vaccinations and better health care. All this was done so that our daily food supply is not interrupted. However, apart from taking into account your health condition, there is not much these companies can do when it comes to delivery drivers. For example, their criminal record, or if they are involved in any illegal activity, may not be known by these companies and it can sometimes come as a shock if you are on the receiving end of the order. .

One such case happened recently with a woman from South Dakota, United States. She ordered food online, however, when it arrived, she was shocked to see what she saw at his doorstep! A police officer stood in place of the door dash driver on his porch. The officer relieves the tension by meeting him with a smile and explains that the delivery driver has been arrested for completing his delivery. He was just completing her driver’s delivery and the incident turned out to be a hilarious one. The video was captured by a camera at the woman’s doorstep and has now garnered nearly 5.2 million views and 661k likes. Check it out here:
The caption on the video read “faith in humanity restored” and in the comments many viewers praised the police officer for being considerate enough to drop off food at the right address. Many people pointed out how it was a healthy video and they thoroughly enjoyed watching it. One of the comments left on the video was “I smiled the whole time how cute this is”, another read “I love this cop. He was really protecting and serving. A real community hero.”

The woman was ordering from ‘Arby’s’, an American sandwich restaurant chain. Many were quick to point out that the choice of restaurant itself was the true crime. “They should arrest him for ordering Arby’s,” read one comment and “I’m actually more surprised to see someone ordering from Arby’s,” read another.
