Virat Kohli Not On Diet Anymore? Viral Video Shows RCB Star Ordering Junk Food

Cricket lovers are not the only ones aware of Virat Kohli’s strict dietary practices. The Indian cricketer also became a firm vegetarian, giving up on meat. Exercise and nutritious dishes often make for his staple diet. But seems like the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) player took a detour from his usual menu and opted for something for fun. In a recent post going viral on X (formerly Twitter), King Kohli was captured ordering all sorts of junk foods on his cellphone. Although chances are that Virat Kohli’s stint might just be a gimmick, the clip has left the masses highly entertained.

“Virat Kohli says goodbye to diet,” read the fun note accompanying the post. The video showed the Indian batting icon lounging on a couch, wearing the team’s jersey. Accompanying him were his RCB teammates — captain Faf du Plessis, and champion bowler Mohammad Siraj. Holding the cell phone close to his ear, Virat Kohli seemingly placed an order to the person on the other side. His long list of items included sandwiches, pizza, and aloo chaat. His junk food roll was complete with the addition of the much-loved Indian dessert barfi

The ace batter asked the person to prepare all the “unhealthy” food while he got ready to pick them up. A shocked Faf du Plessis asked whether Kohli was “serious” and Mohammed Siraj asked the ace Indian batter about his diet. Kohli’s candid reply to them was, “Abe kahe ki diet. Khane de. (What diet? Let me eat)”.

Reactions were quick to flood in the comments of the hilarious video, which many think is a joke. “Paneer khurchan to reh hi gya (Paneer khurchan was left),” reminded one user. Another asked why Virat Kohli did not order “Chole bhature”. Unable to control their laughter, a person said, “That’s hilarious! I can’t stop laughing.”

One individual pointed out that Virat Kohli was inspired by Rohit Sharma to make the video.

Taking a dig at RCB’s recent performance at the Indian Premiere League (IPL), another cricket enthusiast wrote, “Virat after realising ye RCB jit nahi rahi to diet rakhne ka kya faida (RCB is anyways not winning, then what’s the point in maintaining a diet?)”
