Virat Kohli shares internet breaking photo with MS Dhoni; Says their partnership will always be special

Virat KohliOut of the Blue, the former India captain shared a heartfelt message about his time as deputy M S Dhoni on Twitter.

“Becoming a trusted deputy to this man was the happiest and most exciting phase of my career. Our partnership will always be special to me. 7+18,” Kohli wrote.

MS and Virat have always had a very good relationship on and off the field. Their partnership against Australia during the 2016 T20 World Cup is one forever. Although it was Kohli who did all the heavy lifting, it would not have been possible without Dhoni at the other end. His running between the wickets was a sight to behold.

Virat and Rohit’s bowlers thrashed before Asia Cup

In a video posted by BCCI on Twitter, both Kohli and Rohit can be seen smashing bowlers left, right and center during the practice session. One of the highlights of the video is the way Kohli is seen playing the cover drive.

Rohit, on the other hand, can be seen using brute force to pull and hit the bowlers straight over their heads.

Earlier, Kohli had said that he is positive about coming out of a weak phase and will make a comeback.

Kohli said on Star Sports show ‘Game Plan’, “I know there are ups and downs and when I come out of this phase I know how consistent I can be. My experiences are sacred to me. Huh.”

He said that he is confident about his game and if he does not have the ability to counterattack, then no one can reach here.
