Addressing his silence towards the film, Vivek told News18, “Why is the comment of these elites on the film important? India has changed! All these old establishments are slowly collapsing. Kashmir Files is a true account. The film is about real people and their tragedies. It’s not about Bollywood. My heart breaks when I go to theaters and women my mother’s age cry and touch my feet. People are connecting to the film on a different level and that matters more.”

In a recent interview, Karan confessed that he would make a better father than a good husband when he revealed that he wants a daughter while Tejashwi wants 25 kids. The actor also joked that with so many kids in the house, Karan would not be a father but a school principal. “I want a daughter. He wants 25 kids (I want one daughter but Tejashwi wants 25 kids),” Karan told RJ Siddhartha Kannan in an interview. He said that he knows he will make a good father because he is good with kids.
