TDP leader Bandaru Satyanarayana Muthi said Sunita Reddy suspected that Avinash Reddy was behind the murder of her father Vivekananda Reddy.

Former minister and senior TDP leader Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy has demanded that a case be registered on the basis of the affidavit given by the late. Vivekananda ReddyDaughter Sunita Reddy and all those named by her must be interrogated to reach the truth.

Addressing a media conference in Visakhapatnam on March 1, Mr. Muthi said that Sunita Reddy suspected that Avinash Reddy was behind the murder of his father (Vivekananda Reddy). Alleging that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was aware of the truth, he wondered what prompted him to remain silent on the issue.

Stating that hiding information or keeping silent on his uncle’s murder was a crime, the TDP leader wondered what he did for not revealing the truth to the CBI or the DGP. He also said that Jagan Mohan Reddy, who had initially agreed to order a CBI probe, later backed down.

The Chief Minister also did not reach the spot after getting information about the murder of the uncle. The TDP leader alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy had his uncle killed as the latter was becoming popular among the people and could come in the way of his political ambitions.

Referring to Jagan Mohan Reddy’s demand to challenge the then Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to order a CBI probe, Mr Murthy said Mr Reddy had only tried to pass the buck. Stating that Mr Reddy had no fear of the CBI, the High Court or the Supreme Court chief justice against whom he had complained, the TDP leader said Mr Reddy was only afraid of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Home Minister. As Amit Shah, he fears that money-laundering cases will be opened against him (Mr Reddy) if not conformed to him.

TDP Parliament’s District President Palla Srinivasa Rao, MLC Duvvrapu Rama Rao and Visakhapatnam South constituency in-charge Gandi Babaji were present.
