German weekly WirtschaftsWoche reported earlier on Tuesday that Acer had filed a lawsuit in the US state of Virginia, alleging that Volkswagen paid for licenses only for 2G and 3G patents, but not the last two. Mobile phone chips were installed largely with 4G technology over the years. ,

“We will investigate the lawsuit together with our suppliers and then decide how to proceed,” Volkswagen told Reuters.
