The new Volkswagen Vertus has entered the India Book of Records after a VW dealer in Kerala delivered 150 units of the compact sedan in a single day. The record is given to EVM Motors & Vehicles Pvt Ltd. Ltd. in Kerala, to deliver the maximum number of single model sedans in a day by any dealership across India. The car was launched in India on June 9, and the company is running a pan-India mega delivery program for the Vertus.

At the time of the car’s launch, Volkswagen announced that it had received Over 4000 pre-orders For Vertus since the company started the pre-bookings on March 8, 2022. And in Kerala alone, more than 200 Volkswagen Vertus sedans have been delivered to the customers since its launch. These include deliveries made by both EVM Motors & Vehicles India Pvt. Ltd. and Phoenix Cars Pvt. Ltd.
