Volkswagen Virtue With 4561 mm length, 1752 mm width, 1507 mm height and 2651 mm long wheelbase, it is the largest car in the mid-sized sedan segment. The Slavia measures the same as the Vertus, but is 20mm shorter than the VW sedan overall. The Vertus is 12 mm longer, 4 mm wider, 18 mm longer and 51 mm longer than the Honda City.

Both new volkswagen virtue And the Skoda Slavia is offered with the same 1.0-litre 3-pot TSI and 1.5-litre 4-cylinder TSI EVO engines rated at 115 PS/178 Nm and 150 PS/250 Nm respectively. Transmission options include a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AT on the smaller engine, as well as a 7-speed DSG on the 1.5-litre turbo petrol mill. Additionally, Skoda also offers the bigger engine on the Slavia with the optional 6-speed MT – something that the Vertus misses out.
Honda City, on the other hand, is now offered with three different powertrains, which include a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine that produces 121 PS and 145 Nm; a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 100 PS and 200 Nm; Also, the 1.5-litre Atkinson Cycles petrol engine is mated to 2 electric motors that make a total of 126 PS and 253 Nm.

Prices of the VW Virtus start at Rs 11.21 Lakh, which places it between the Skoda Slavia and Honda City, as far as the base price is concerned. The top-end GT Plus variant of the Vertus is more affordable than the top-end Skoda Slavia as well as the top-of-the-line Honda City E: HEV Hybrid.
