Volleyball competition organized on the occasion of Ambedkar’s death anniversary

Youths playing volleyball in a tournament organized by the BSP party at Bobbili in Vizianagaram on Tuesday.

On 6th December (Tuesday) Dr. B.R. A good number of youths from Parvathipuram and Vizianagaram districts participated in the volleyball tournament organized by the Bahujan Samaj Party at Bobbili on the occasion of Ambedkar’s death anniversary.

A good number of youth from tribal areas participated for the tournament cup. The winners were given cash prizes of Rs 50,000.

Senior BSP leader Soru Sambayya said the tournament was a great opportunity to spread the message of Dr. Ambedkar who laid down his life for Dalits.

“Baba Saheb’s ideology needs to be explained to the youth in a new way. That is why, we organized this tournament after explaining the history and vision of BR Ambedkar to the students,” said Mr. Sambayya.

Senior TDP leader Baby Nayana and others congratulated Mr. Sambayya, Prajahita Mandali representatives Wilson Baba and Sunkari Sattibabu for organizing the event at Bobbili, where sports infrastructure was yet to be developed.
