Volvo Car India announced a new “Customer Lifetime Parts Warranty” scheme across its model range. Under the new scheme, parts purchased after the standard period of warranty and installed in an authorized workshop will be accompanied by a lifetime warranty and will be applicable to genuine parts purchased from October 1, 2021. The coverage period starts from the date of purchase of the part. and lasts as long as the ownership of the car does not change. However, the scheme will terminate when there is a change in ownership. Under this plan, both parts and labor cost are covered. This initiative has been taken to provide customers an assurance on after sales services by looking at spare parts and replacement cost in luxury cars.

Jyoti Malhotra, Managing Director, volvo car india Said, “This is the first time in India that such an initiative has been offered for luxury customers. This is a unique offering in the automotive industry that provides a carefree and safe car ownership to the customer. In the unlikely event a part is replaced for their car, the company will give a lifetime warranty on that part. The warranty starts from the date of purchase of the part and will follow the combination of the car and the car owner. If the car has a new registered one The owner is there, the warranty will expire.”
