Powering the Volvo XC40 Recharge is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 48V battery, which cumulatively generates 197 hp of power and 300 Nm of torque. An 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox is on offer. The 2022 Volvo XC40 Recharge Mild Hybrid now gets cross-traffic alert with Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) as an additional safety feature.
