Vulnerability alert for these Microsoft users: Here’s how to avoid it

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-IN), a government body that issues alerts for vulnerabilities and operating systems, has recently found several new vulnerabilities in Microsoft Edge Web. CERT-IN issued an alert for these bugs and classified them as ‘high’ severity.

According to CERT-InSeveral vulnerabilities have been reported in Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based), which could be exploited by a remote attacker to gain elevated privileges and bypass security restrictions on a targeted system.

It simply means that a vulnerability in the Microsoft browser could allow attackers to steal user data and bypass security restrictions on a targeted system. These vulnerabilities in Microsoft Edge could also allow hackers to send specially constructed requests to targeted systems, specified the government body.
