Wall Street Journal, New York Times among Pulitzer winners

The New York Times won an award for international reporting for its coverage on the Ukraine War.

New York:

The Wall Street Journal won a Pulitzer Prize for investigative reporting for revealing financial conflicts of interest among officials at dozens of federal agencies, the prize’s administrator said Monday.

The Los Angeles Times won the Pulitzer Prize for breaking news for disclosing a secretly recorded conversation between city officials that included racist comments, while The Washington Post reported on abortion rights following the US Supreme Court’s nationwide ruling. Won a National Reporting Award for the coverage. Right to abortion.

The New York Times won an award for international reporting for its coverage of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. A Reuters team was named as a finalist in that category for a series highlighting grave human rights abuses against women and children by the Nigerian military during its long war with Islamist militants.

The annual Pulitzer, first presented in 1917, is the most prestigious honor in American journalism.
