Lionsgate has announced the official release date and trailer white birdBased on RJ Palacio’s 2019 graphic novel of the same name.
The war drama is the next chapter of his best-seller Wonder Which was made as a feature film in 2017. white bird Ghiser reprising his role as Julian, with Ariella Glaser, Orlando Schwartz, Bryce Ghiser, Gillian Anderson, and Helen Mirren Wonder,
According to a summary of the manufacturers, “In white birdIn , we follow Julian (Bryce Ghisar), who has struggled ever since being expelled from his former school for his treatment of Auggie Pullman. Determined to turn his life around, Julien’s grandmother (Helen Mirren) finally tells Julien her story of courage – during his youth in Nazi-occupied France, a boy saves him from mortal danger. They meet first love in a wondrous, magical world of their own making, while the boy’s mother (Gillian Anderson) puts everything at stake to keep him safe.
white bird, a Lionsgate/Mandeville Films Production, is presented by Lionsgate in association with Participant and 2DUX2 Productions. Directed by Mark Foster with a screenplay by Mark Bomback, the film will be released in cinemas worldwide on 25 August 2023.
