WATCH: An Uninvited, Unexpected Guest at Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral

The short clip of the live coverage of the Queen’s funeral went viral on social media.

Mourners, including royalty and heads of state from around the world, were present at Westminster Abbey to attend the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. There were also spots on this occasion.

On social media, users spotted a spider crawling on the handwritten note along with some flowers on the coffin of the queen. The note was written by the Queen’s eldest son and current monarch, King Charles III.

The short clip of the live coverage went viral on social media. Several Twitter users shared the video, with one user calling the crater the most famous spider.

One user said, “A cute little spider was seen on the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II. I think it was intended to pay respect to the Queen and for all.”

Another Twitter user shared a video and wrote, “The world’s most famous spider right now.”

“Did anyone else see a spider riding on Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin?” Tweeted another.

Another user tweeted, “How cute was a spider riding on Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin? Flowers picked by King Charles from the gardens of @RoyalFamily Highgrove & Buckingham Palace.”

The coffin of the United Kingdom’s longest-reigning monarch was moved yesterday to Westminster Abbey in London, attended by members of the royal family and top world leaders.

The queen’s wreath consisted of leaves of rosemary, English oak and myrtle and flowers, in shades of gold, pink and deep burgundy, with touches of white, were cut from the gardens of the royal residences.

In another incident, a police officer today fell while on duty for Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. During the service the officer fell unconscious and had to be carried on a stretcher. The New York Post reported that he fell near Parliament Square before the funeral procession took a walk in the mall.

Queen Elizabeth II died on 8 September at Balmoral Castle, Scotland. This is the first state funeral in Britain since Winston Churchill in 1965.

From political heads of several countries to individual members of the royal family and dignitaries from around the world arrived in Britain today for Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.
