Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra is an avid social media user and he often shares engaging posts that pique the interest of internet users. This time too, he has grabbed the attention of netizens by sharing a video showing a “simple but creative” ladder.
The clip opens to show a man performing a uniquely designed staircase. In the caption, Mr Mahindra wrote, “Outstanding. So simple but creative. In addition to de-cluttering space, it really adds an eye-catching aesthetic element to an otherwise stark exterior wall. Scandinavian designers must be jealous!! (Don’t know where it is from. The video shows a metal grill affixed to the wall. The clip then snaps to a man who opens the latch and pulls the metal structure that turns into a ladder with the handrail on the left. Then the person is seen climbing the stairs and reaching the first floor. Then he also descends the unique ladder, before closing it and attaching it to the wall as it was before.

Since being shared, the video has garnered over a million views and over 50,000 likes. The post shocked internet users. While one said, “Super spacer saver and cap for thought,” another wrote, “Nice composition. Should be adapted by small area dwellers. By doing this they can increase their living area.”
A third added, “Absolutely imaginative and brilliant. Thank you for creating and sharing this. Thank you.” “Awesome innovative idea and well executed. The designer deserves three cheers,” said the fourth.

Meanwhile, a while back another post by Anand Mahindra grabbed attention online. He shared a caricature on Twitter on Friday, showing two women drying clothes on a rope in the traditional way, with one saying, “It dries laundry using the latest technology – a combination of solar and wind power.” ” The post had garnered over 9,000 likes and hundreds of shares.
