Pop singer Britney Spears has announced her engagement to boyfriend Sam Asghari.

Pop Princess Britney Spears announced her engagement to boyfriend Sam Asghari on social media on Sunday.
Spears, 39, showed off a diamond ring in an Instagram micro-video post and wrote “I can’t believe it!!!!!!”
Sam Asghari – now fiancé – has her boyfriend by her side in the video whereby she turns to and kisses on the cheek.
“Look at it – do you like it?” Asgari, 27, asks.
“Yes!” Spears giggles with joy.
Congratulations poured in and over 16 lakh people liked the post till Sunday night.
“Congratulations love!! So happy for you! Welcome to the club!” Celebrity heiress Paris Hilton said in a comment on the video.
To show off her new bling – and ring finger – Asghari’s Instagram page has a simple photo of her kissing Spears as she lifts her hand.
Spears and Asgari met in 2016, when they co-starred in a music video for their single “Slumber Party”.
Spears has two children with ex-husband rapper Kevin Federline, and had a brief Las Vegas wedding with childhood friend Jason Alexander that was called off after just 55 hours.
The star rose to fame in her teen years with hits such as “…Baby One More Time”, but suffered a highly public breakdown in 2007, attacking a paparazzo’s car at a gas station.
This led to him being placed under court-ordered guardianship, largely ruled by his father, Jamie Spears.
She rapidly returned to performing, released three albums, appeared on various television shows and even took up a Las Vegas residency.
But in January 2019, she suddenly announced that she was postponing her performance until further notice, and became more vocal about conservatism.
In July she launched a bid to remove her father from her 13-year guardianship, which she said amounted to “abuse,” and in early September Jamie Spears filed a petition calling for an end to the conservatism.
