Methi, also known as fenugreek leaves, is one of the most popular winter vegetables among Indians. Despite its distinctive sour taste, it makes some of the tastiest curries and gravies! This paneer-methi paratha is unlike any other paratha you’ve eaten. Paneer is grated like cottage cheese to make this paratha. The stuffing is spiced with garam masala, chilli powder, cumin powder and other classic Indian spices which are easily available in our kitchen.

Methi-Paneer Paratha Recipe: How To Make Winter-Special Methi-Paneer Paratha

Start by kneading a simple dough with flour, salt, oil and water. Let it rest for some time. Proceed to prepare the stuffing. Cut fenugreek, onion and green chillies and grate the paneer. Put it in the mixing bowl. Add garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt. Mix it well.

Make a dough of paneer-fenugreek stuffing. Roll the dough like a roti and put the stuffing in the center. Close the paratha and roll it again. Heat oil in a pan and roast the parantha till it becomes crisp.
