A video has gone viral on Instagram which shows a giant python swallowing a crocodile which had to be cut through its stomach.

The video, posted to Instagram by Rosie Moore on November 1, showed multiple photos and footage of a python swallowing a whole crocodile. The caption revealed that the snake was a Burmese python about 18 feet long and had eaten a crocodile about 5 feet in size.
The caption further states that the python was euthanized by a group of scientists and turned into a research laboratory for necroscopy and scientific sample collection.
