A 10-year-old girl dressed as Goddess Durga walked on a pothole-laden road in Karnataka’s Hubli on Monday to highlight the poor condition of roads in the city.
A girl named Harshita chose the eighth day of the Ashtami or Navratri festival to register her protest and draw the attention of the authorities to the damaged roads.
In a video going viral on social media, the girl is shown passing through a puddle for a long time.
The girl is also seen standing in muddy water on a busy road.
Locals say that the condition of the city’s roads has deteriorated in the last few months.
