The reaction video was shared by Gordon Ramsay on his official Instagram handle @gordongram. Since it was posted, it has garnered over 6.3 million views and 465k likes. Ramsay wrote in the caption, “Cook something nice Sunday night! Just make sure you use my recipe.”
In the clip, we can see popular blogger @notoriousfoodie making Shepherd’s Pie. He first put the ground meat in the pan with a little olive oil, salt and pepper and mashed it well. Then, he chopped up some vegetables, including onions, carrots, and leeks, and put them in a pan of ground meat. “Pretty knife skills,” reacted Gordon Ramsay, Then, he added some more sauce, spices, and wine to the meat and finished it off with some peas. Next was a layer of mashed potatoes with egg yolk to make it even smoother. Bread crumbs and cheese were finally added to the baked pie and served hot, garnished with some chopped green onions!

A savory dish, shepherd’s pie has been trending lately.
Interestingly, Gordon Ramsay approved of the whole Shepherd’s Pie recipe and actually praised the blogger for following this recipe to the very last instructable. “This kid is cool,” and “he looks gorgeous. Fabulous,” he said during the video. His only negative comment was about using an expensive quality wine to make the humble pie. “My mom will kill me,” he laughed.
Instagram users also shared his comment on the video of Gordon Ramsay reacting to Shepherd’s Pie. The fact that it got their approval left the eaters on Instagram stunned. “Gordon approved video,” said one user, while another wrote, “It looks amazing!”
