Watch: Indo-Tibetan Border Police officer’s rendition of ‘Border’ song thrills the internet

ITBP constable’s video is making a splash on the internet.

A video of an Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) constable singing a popular song from the 1997 film ‘range‘ is winning hearts on social media. The video has been posted by ITBP on its Ku and its other social media handles. The constable is seen surrounded by fellow ITBP officers, who give a thumbs up to his rendition of “”.O passing moments”Starring Suniel Shetty and Sharbani Mukherjee. It was sung by Roop Kumar Rathod in the film.

ITBP in its Ku post said, “Singing at the request of Himveer brothers during a meeting. ITBP constable Vikramjit Singh sang a song from the film Border (1997).”

The post is gaining traction on the social media platform, with many Koo users liking it and doing it again.

,range‘, the multi-starrer was set amidst the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 and was written, produced and directed by JP Dutta. The film and the song struck a chord with cinema lovers at that time.

ITBP keeps posting videos of the performance of its jawans from time to time. Earlier this month, Constable Vikramjit Singh was seen performing the music of the famous Pakistani song, ,afreen afreen, In a video posted on the official Instagram handle of ITBP.

In the video, another constable is seen playing the guitar while Sepoy Singh is singing a song.

This year on Republic Day, an ITBP constable dedicated a song to the nation. The video posted on Twitter also gave a glimpse into the lives of the jawans.
