Speed bumps or speed breakers are also necessary to keep cars and other vehicles at a safe speed in residential areas. However, the one-speed bump in Mumbai is gaining traction online for an unspecified reason.
Everything went awry recently when a car got stuck at a high-speed controller in Mumbai and became helpless. A user on Instagram shared a video of a Jaguar XJ getting stuck at a speed breaker in Mumbai. “Why don’t we have proper roads in the financial capital???” the user wrote in the caption.

In the video, a Jaguar XJ can be seen getting stuck on a huge speed breaker on a busy Mumbai road. Despite great efforts by the driver of the car, the vehicle failed to cross the speed breaker, with the rear wheels spinning on every attempt.
The clip also shows how other motorists and passers-by came to the rescue of the Jaguar driver. People gathered around the vehicle were seen pushing the car so that it went ahead and crossed the speed breaker. Fortunately, at the end of the video, the vehicle managed to pass the high speed governor and avoided further damage and examination.
Ever since being shared, the video of the incident has taken the internet by storm. It even caught the attention of the Municipal Corporation of Mumbai. “Thank you for sharing with us. We have informed our team to attend to this immediately,” the officials wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the video has garnered nearly 30,000 views and several likes and comments. One user wrote, “Literally laughing my guts out.. Any car specially sedan which is not made keeping Indian roads in mind should not be bought at all.” “It’s not a ‘speed breaker’, it’s a ‘car breaker’,” added another jokingly.
A third expressed, “Why isn’t there a universal size for speed breakers? A universal template should be followed by every contractor. All Mumbai speed breakers are ridiculous.” “Why is it called Speed Breaker, it should be called Speed Mountain,” said another.
