It is a shocking moment when a leopard took away a family pet dog by jumping off a gate. CCTV footage shared by Indian Forest Service officer Parveen Kaswan shows the leopard jumping over a closed gate and attacking the dog, before eloping with the unfortunate dog. The undated video begins with a dog standing near a locked gate of a house. Suddenly, as if scared of something, the dog starts running at a high speed. After some time the leopard jumps over the gate.
The frightening video shows the leopard entering the house and going straight after the dog. After a few seconds, he was seen running away holding the dog firmly in his mouth.
Sharing the clip on Twitter, Mr. Kaswan wrote: “Look at that leopard. Others don’t get a chance.” He said he found the clip on WhatsApp.

The video has garnered thousands of views since being shared on the microblogging platform.
In the comments section, Mr. Kaswan said that in the hilly areas, leopards are often the prey of dogs. To prevent such attacks, some dog-owners make their pets wear iron collars around their necks.
This is an unusual sight for some. But in many areas, including mountainous areas, leopards usually hunt dogs. That’s why local people put iron collars on their pets. who save them.
