A video of lightning hitting a bell tower in Mecca, Saudi Arabia has gone viral on social media. In the video, lightning strikes on a rainy evening and then lights up the sky spectacularly.

A clip was shared online by a user named Mulham H, whose Twitter bio described him as a scholar of astronomy at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. The translated caption reads: “A few days ago, during the rain in Mecca, there was a lightning strike at Burj Al-Sa.”

The video, shared on Friday, has garnered over 1.3 million views on Twitter. Many Twitter users retweeted this and expressed their surprise at the beautiful sight.
