One such anonymous person’s heartwarming gesture towards homeless children is winning hearts on social media after it went viral on the internet. The video shows a man, who according to the video description is in charge of an electronics shop, lets these kids watch their favorite shows on a display television set.

A Twitter user named Gautam Trivedi shared the video and captioned it, “Store in charge lets homeless street kids choose what to watch on Display TV every evening.”

The clip opens in front of an electronics store. Believed to have been recorded by a passerby, the video shows two homeless children in front of large TV screens outside the store. Just then, a man appears with a TV remote, shuffling between shows so that the two little girls can watch what they want. The girls also point to the cartoon show they want to watch when asked by the manager about their preference. They settled on a ‘Talking Tom’ clip and continued to enjoy the show. According to the caption of the video, the store in-charge does this every evening.

The video has gone viral, receiving a lot of love and appreciation from internet users. It has garnered 2.6 lakh views, nearly 12,000 likes and over 1900 retweets on the microblogging platform.

Users thanked the man for this kind gesture towards the girls and expressed their appreciation in the comments section. One user wrote, “Such a small gesture from her, but probably a profound experience for the kids.”
