On the one hand it signifies the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of those who find themselves free from the stress of working life. However, on the other hand, it also holds immense emotional significance for those who have dedicated most of their lives to their work and have gathered a lot of memories in the process. It can also be quite difficult to let go of familiar routines and responsibilities that they have followed for decades.

Now, a video of an employee bidding a tearful farewell to his decades-long career has set the internet on edge. A video has surfaced on social media websites that shows a Tamil Nadu State Transport driver getting emotional and bidding a tearful farewell to the bus he had driven for 30 years.

The beginning of the video shows the bus driver, overwhelmed with emotion, touching and gently kissing the steering wheel, which he held during his decades of service. He then walks inside the bus and salutes by touching the footboard of the vehicle. The driver then proceeds to hug the bus by wrapping his arms around it and expressing his gratitude and love for the many journeys that have been undertaken together.

The video has gone viral, and many people have been touched by the driver’s love for his job. Others also wished the driver all the best for the new chapter in his life.
