To pique the curiosity of fans, streaming platform Netflix on Tuesday released a nearly two-and-a-half-minute trailer for the Jitendra Kumar-led Hindi-language sports drama feature film. Magician The trailer introduces us to Meenu (Kumar), a struggling magician and hopeless romantic, who has no interest in sports. In a particularly amusing sequence, he makes a complete fool of himself while trying to showcase his non-existent football skills. Attention soon turns to his love interest (Arushi Sharma), who appears to be an eye doctor. We are soon going to have some sweet yet pleasant romantic exchanges between the two. Magician The trailer ends with exhilarating sequences wherein we see Meenu trying to prove her mettle by shining on the football field.
Apart from Kumar and Sharma, Magician The cast includes Manoj Joshi, Javed Jaffrey and Dhruv Thukral in lead roles. Magician The trailer, however, does not reveal much about their characters as the focus is on the lead pair.
Sameer Saxena, best known for directing the romantic comedy web series permanent roommates For Viral Fever (TVF), Directing Magician From a script by writer-producer Vishwapati Sarkar. Produced by Amit Golani and Saurabh Khanna, the film is made under the banner of Posham Pa Pictures.
