Watch: Three killer whales rip apart a great white shark in terrifying video

Time and again, the internet has surfaced innumerable animal attack videos that have captivated us all by showcasing the ferocity of the predator. And it cannot be denied that such videos go viral instantly, as it keeps us hooked till the end. However, we have rarely seen an apex predator attacking another apex predator. And it appears the internet isn’t leaving anything behind for us, as incredibly rare drone footage shows three killer whales rattling a great white shark. No, this is not the plot of an award winning adventure action film, but a complete reality.

The remarkably spectacular footage was captured just off the coast of South Africa and was broadcast as a part of the Discovery Channel TV series Shark Week. A short clip of the video was also posted on the TV program’s official Instagram account. According to Shark Week, this is the first time a pack of orcas has been filmed hunting a great white shark. The video, which has created a lot of buzz on the internet, shows two killer whales swimming near a shark for a few seconds. And then suddenly, a third orca appears out of nowhere under the shark. Wonder what then? Well, it was a blood bath in the serene turquoise water.
