Tokyo Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra has started a new campaign called #JavRun that inspires people to try javelin throwing. With the launch of an exciting challenge exclusively on YouTube Shorts, Neeraj is showing the viewers a new way of living. Fans can join the champion by performing a #JavRun and imitating his distinctive run-up before throwing the javelin.

Former WWE wrestler The Great Khali can be seen taking up Neeraj’s #JavRun challenge in the latest ad video posted on YouTube. Neeraj can be seen giving the spear to Khali and asking him to throw the javelin for as long as possible. The Great Khali also shows keen interest and throws the javelin.

“I am now excited to start my own channel with the hope of helping the next generation of Indian athletes. Through my channel, I will aim to give a glimpse of my fitness and training to my followers, as well as my I will also put up interesting content from life and travels as an athlete,” Chopra said when she launched her own YouTube channel in March this year.

“I have a special connection with YouTube as I have followed all javelin throwers around the world on the platform as a young javelin thrower. I am learning a lot by watching videos on the platform both my sport and entertainment . training session,” he said.

Neeraj, who is currently training at Turkey’s Gloria Sports Arena, is scheduled to fly on May 26 and will train at the Kuorten Olympic Training Center in Finland till June 22. Kuorten provides Olympic-level indoor and outdoor facilities for OTC athletes and is also the training base for Devendra Jhajharia, the current Paralympic gold medalist.

From Cuortane, Neeraj will then travel to Turku to participate in the Pavo Nurmi Games, followed by the Cuortane Games in Cuortane, and then the Diamond League in Stockholm.
