Here’s How You Can Make Almond Milk, As Per Jose Xiloj-Style:

  1. For his almond milk recipe, Jose Xiloj begins by soaking the almonds in cold water, allowing them to plump up.
  2.  Once they’ve had their refreshing soak, he tosses the nuts into a blender, adding four cups of cold water.
  3.  To enhance the flavour, he sprinkles a touch of cinnamon powder, a pinch of salt, and a drizzle of honey.
  4. After that, the ingredients are blended for 30 seconds.
  5. Now, with a strainer, he separates the milk from the almond remnants, squeezing out every last drop.
  6. Voila! The almond milk is ready to be enjoyed.   

With the leftovers, Jose suggests repurposing them in delightful ways, such as adding them to granola bars or pancakes.
